Bima Diary

For LIC agents

A diary for LIC agents: dues, grace, lapse and maturity

Short answer

Bima Diary keeps your own LIC book: each policy's DOC, mode, PPT, next due date and maturity, with who is due today on Home. Bring your book in from Excel, with FUP written as a month and year if that is how you keep it. It is an independent app: it is not made by LIC and does not read the LIC portal.

Your premium dues, worked out

Each policy knows its mode, so the next due date, grace and lapse follow on their own.

  • Plan name, sum assured, premium and mode, date of commencement, premium paying term, policy term, next due date, maturity date and nominee
  • Grace of 15 days for monthly mode and 30 days for other modes; after that the policy shows as lapsed, with a note that it can be revived
  • Status: in force, lapsed, paid-up, surrendered, matured or claimed
  • Survival and money-back dates you type, shown on Home 60 days ahead with a congratulation message
A life policy in the app: the next instalment and the date its grace ends, Call, WhatsApp and SMS buttons, premium and mode, sum assured and policy status

Your Excel sheet comes with you

You should not have to type a book you already keep.

  • The import knows columns like Policy No, DOC, FUP, Mode, Plan, Term, PPT and Sum Assured, and asks about the rest
  • FUP written as 06/2026 or Jun-2026 takes its day from the DOC, even when Excel has already turned it into a date
  • Rows with a missing date or number still come in
  • You can also add policy PDFs, which are read on your device. Scans and photos have no text to read, so you type those details
Home in the app: a greeting, tasks for today, and cards for clients whose renewals are due, each with Call and WhatsApp buttons

Calculators for life clients

Each one shows its assumptions and says "Estimate only, not advice".

  • Premium dates: next dues by mode, grace end and lapse date
  • Maturity estimate from the bonus rates you type. Nothing is built in or projected
  • Life cover need, and what can be claimed under 80C and 80D in the old regime
  • Send a result as a clean image; your name, logo and number go on it on Plus and Pro

What it does not do

  • It does not connect to the LIC portal or download your due list. The book is what you bring in.
  • It does not make plan presentations or benefit illustrations. Life insurers must give their own filed illustration, so attach the insurer's PDF to the policy.
  • It does not price an LIC plan. It holds the premium you copy from the insurer.
  • LIC has its own apps for agents, such as LIC Super Sales Saathi, which show LIC's own records. Bima Diary is a separate diary for the book you keep.

Bima Diary is independent. It is not made by, connected with or approved by any insurer or by IRDAI.

Common questions

Is Bima Diary an official LIC app?

No. It is an independent app. It is not made by, connected with or approved by LIC of India.

Can it fetch my premium due list from LIC?

No. It does not connect to the LIC portal. You bring your book in from Excel, from policy PDFs or by hand, and it works out the dues from there.

Can I import FUP from my sheet?

Yes. FUP as a full date, or as a month and year like 06/2026. The day comes from the DOC.

Does it remind clients by itself?

No. It shows who is due, and on Plus and Pro it opens a WhatsApp or SMS reminder for you to read and send. Calls work on every plan.
