Two ways to use the app

You can use Bima Diary without an account, or sign in with your email to use the same data on your phone and laptop. Signing in is your choice, and the app works offline either way.

Without an account

The app sends nothing to us. Your clients, policies, documents and files stay on the device you are using, and we have no copy of them.

With an account: what is stored with us

Your email; your book (clients, vehicles, policies, documents, KYC, agents, saved quotes, commission notes, message templates and profile); the copies of files you add, up to 10 MB each; your plan and this month's counts; your payments and referral rewards. For an Aadhaar card only the last 4 digits are kept, never an image.

Where it is stored

On Cloudflare's servers: the records in a Cloudflare D1 database and the file copies in Cloudflare R2 storage. Once a day a safety copy of each account is written there as well, and safety copies older than 14 days are removed.

Who can see it

In the app, only you, after signing in with your email. TechInRent's admin page shows each account's email, name, mobile, plan, end date, payments, referral wallet, AI use and the number of records and devices, not the records themselves. People with access to TechInRent's Cloudflare account could open the stored data.

Other services we use

Sign-in codes are emailed through Resend. With Continue with Google, Google tells us your email address. Payments go through Razorpay, which handles your payment details; we see the plan, the amount and whether it was paid. When you tap Read with AI, that one copy (and the text your device read from it) is sent to Anthropic, which runs the Claude AI, to be read; the answer only fills the form for you to check, and nothing is saved until you tap Save. When you use Rewrite with AI, that message's text goes to Anthropic in the same way. A copy or message with an Aadhaar number is never sent. If you turn on notifications from your account, the daily note goes through your browser's own push service (for example Google's or Apple's) and carries counts only, never a client's name.

With no internet

The app keeps working. Changes wait on the device and go to your account when the internet is back. If the same record was changed on two devices in the meantime, the later change is kept.

Download and delete

In Settings, Download my data gives you a backup file of everything in your account. Delete my account removes your account, every record and file in it and its safety copies, at once. Sign out and remove data from this phone clears the device.

When you open another app

WhatsApp, the phone dialler, your calendar and payment links open only when you tap them. Those apps then see what you send them.

If you lose your phone

With an account, sign in on the new phone and your data comes back. Without one, losing the phone without a backup loses the data: we have no copy, so we cannot bring it back. Keep a backup file somewhere safe.
