Bima Diary

For Health agents

A diary for health insurance agents: renewals and floaters

Short answer

Bima Diary keeps your health book: renewals, individual and family floater policies with their members, sum insured and cumulative bonus. Home shows who is due, with 15 and 30 day grace worked out. It does not quote health premiums, since each insurer sets its own.

Every family on one page

A floater is one policy with several people on it, so the app keeps it that way.

  • Individual or family floater, with members picked from the client's family
  • Sum insured, premium, start and expiry, and cumulative bonus
  • The client page groups the family's policies by line, with total cover and premium per year
  • Claims tracked step by step, from intimation to settlement
A health policy in the app: premium and mode, sum insured, the renewal lists, the next instalment, and a note that renewal cannot be refused because of a claim

Renewals you do not miss

Home and Renewals list what is due, most urgent first.

  • Renewals due in the next 30 days, and the ones that lapsed in the last 90
  • The same 15 and 30 day grace as life
  • Pending, Renewed, Opportunity and Lost lists, by financial year, line and insurer
  • A renewal note from the 2024 health master circular: renewal cannot be refused because of a claim, and portability keeps waiting-period credit
Renewals in the app: Pending, Renewed, Opportunity and Lost lists, and a button to remind the next client on WhatsApp

Calculators for health clients

Planning estimates, with every assumption on show.

  • Health cover need from a hospital bill you type. No city costs are built in
  • What can be claimed under 80D in the old regime, for self and for parents
  • GST on premium: none on individual health paid on or after 22-09-2025

What it does not do

  • It does not give a health premium for any plan. Each insurer files its own rates by age, zone, sum insured and family.
  • It does not compare insurers or say which plan to buy.
  • It does not run a portability request. That goes through the insurers and the Insurance Information Bureau.

Bima Diary is independent. It is not made by, connected with or approved by any insurer or by IRDAI.

Common questions

Can it hold a family floater?

Yes. One policy, with its members picked from the client's family, and sum insured and cumulative bonus on the policy.

Does it work out grace for health policies?

Yes. 15 days on monthly instalments, 30 days on others, from the IRDAI health master circular of 29-05-2024.

Does it show health premium quotes?

No. It holds the premium you copy from the insurer. Premiums are the insurer's to set.
